To start off...

Here are some samples of work that I've done for Newhouse classes:


With thisone I used a picture I took of my sister's dog, Emma, and photoshoped the hell out of it so that it set the tone of the message the poster is conveying.





This is a calendar I designed for my Typography class. We had to hand trace the top part of the calendar and scan that part to color it in in photoshop. I was going for the intentional smudging in the "rays of sun". This was one of my favorite projects.





We had to create our own line of hair care products so I called my product HELMET. Pretty simple yet practical. Here is a picture of the labels on the actual bottles:

New Beginnings

What would be a better reason to start a blog than having a new computer as the pure and simple motivation. My Powerbook G4 has finally met its creator...or the recycling center. I say finally only because I have lived with this machine for 7 years of my life and shared both ups and downs like if it were my life long partner. This coming week I will be introducing my newborn: a 15 inch Macbook Pro with matte screen. This lovely new family member will be taking G4's place and (hopefully) starting off my design carrer once May 2010 rolls around. I intend to post updates of all of my portfolio pieces and any other design projects I do on my spare time so please, enjoy and comment on anything that invites you to do so!
